Emmerson Daily
Emmerson Daily is the President, General Manager and founder of Daily Equipment Company. He is a man who has charted the company’s course for success. Using his many years of experience in the lift truck and heavy equipment industry, Emmerson provides the perfect environment for presenting customers with extraordinary products and service.
From his early years working for Caterpillar, Emmerson understood the formula for success. His mom, dad, and uncle all worked at Caterpillar and taught him well. Even as a youngster in high school, he impressed Caterpillar with his work ethic and knowledge. Caterpillar gave him a scholarship to help pay his way through Mechanical Engineering School at the University of Illinois. And then, Caterpillar was eager to hire him out of college. Working as an engineer at Caterpillar, Emmerson broadened his knowledge and experience by serving as Project Leader on the D10 and many other projects at the well-known Arizona proving ground. Today, his sister, brother-in-law, and niece still work at Caterpillar.
Emmerson not only honed his skills at Caterpillar Engineering, but also spent years working in the dealer network. This experience helped to complete his knowledge and skill in providing customers with unrivaled service. Using those skills and knowledge, he was able to understand what it took to run a successful company.
Successful not only as a businessman and engineer, Emmerson is also a family man. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Julia. Their grandchildren, Jack and Lily, bring much joy to the Dailys. When not working or spending time with his family, he enjoys flying and has many hours in the cockpit as a licensed pilot.
